Founded in 1975, Darien Arts Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, promoting and providing the means of artistic expression in dance, music, visual arts and theatre for members of the community of all ages.
The Board of Directors and various committees volunteer their time to represent the different areas of interest and oversee the diverse activities of the Darien Arts Center and its programs, including dance, music, theatre and visual arts. Our classes instruct close to 600 students of all ages each week, taking advantage of all the DAC has to offer. Hundreds more are involved with the performing arts.
The programs would not be possible without the encouragement of the thousands of area residents who come out in support of these events and have stood by us and helped us grow into the successful and thriving organization we are today. For that we say “thank you!” And we promise we will continue to present the very best theatre, music, dance and visual arts for you and your family for generations to come.
